Pakistan’s victory in the second T20 match against Ireland in Dublin today was the 45th victory under Babar’s leadership.

Before him, England‘s Morgan had won 44 matches as captain.

Brian Masaba of Uganda won 44 matches as captain while Asghar Afghan of Afghanistan won 42 matches as captain.

Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam has crossed another milestone and became the captain with the most number of T20 international matches in the world.

Babar Azam, the superstar captain of the Pakistan cricket team, who is making some or the other record in cricket, has now achieved another great honor after which he has become the most successful captain in the world.

Babar Azam’s victory in the second T20 match against Ireland in Dublin yesterday was Babar Azam’s 45th victory as national captain and no cricketer has reached this milestone before him.

 


Babar Azam broke the record of former England captain Eoin Morgan, who led his team to victory in 44 matches as captain, while Uganda’s Brian Masaba also won 44 matches as captain.

Third in the list is Afghanistan captain Asghar Afghan who has 42 victories to his credit.

It should be noted that in the first T20 match against Ireland two days ago, although the Pakistan team had an upset defeat, Babar Azam also achieved two records in this match.

The Pakistan captain equaled the record of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli by scoring his 38th half-century in the said match, while in the same match, he also claimed the honor of leading the most T20 matches in the world.

Babar Azam’s 77th match as captain against Ireland was previously topped by Aaron Finch with 76 matches.
