Babar Azam equaled Kohli for the highest fifty-plus score in T20 Internationals.

The Pakistan captain scored a fifty in the first T20 match against Ireland, his 38th fifty-plus score in his 108th T20 International innings.

India’s Virat Kohli has scored 38 fifty-plus in 109 T20 international innings.

Kohli converted only one of his 38 fifties into a century while Babar Azam converted his fifties into three-digit scores three times.

Babar Azam’s fifty-plus score century was also completed in overall T20s. He is the fourth player to score 100 fifty-plus times in T20s.

David Warner and Chris Gayle scored 110 and 110 fifty-plus scores respectively, while Virat Kohli scored 50-plus scores 105 times in total in T20Is.

Chris Gayle converted 22 fifties into centuries in total T20s, Babar Azam converted 11 fifty-plus scores into triple digits while Virat Kohli managed to convert 9 fifties into hundreds, and David Warner 8 times.

National cricket team captain Babar Azam broke another record of Indian captain Virat Kohli.

Babar Azam has become the player to score the most fifty-plus as a captain, he scored a half-century in the T20 World Cup match against Namibia.

Babar Azam scored a total of 14 fifty-plus scores as captain.

It should be noted that the seventh edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is underway in the United Arab Emirates.
