Chennai Super Kings released a statement on social media that Ben Stokes has withdrawn from IPL 2024 to manage his fitness and workload.

Ben Stokes had said after the recent World Cup in India that he would undergo knee surgery but later postponed it.
It should be noted that during the 2023 IPL season, Ben Stokes was bought by Chennai Super Kings for the most expensive INR 162.5 million, but he could only play two matches due to a knee injury.
