Why is Irfan Pathan trending on social media

Why is Irfan Pathan trending on social media after Afghanistan’s defeat to Australia? In the 39th match of the World Cup, Australia’s Better Glenn Maxwell smashed Afghanistan’s dream of victory by scoring a double century.

After falling for 7 wickets at a total score of 91 runs, Maxwell single-handedly hit six fours on the ground despite a leg injury and removed the brunt of the Afghan bowlers.

Maxwell scored an unbeaten 201 off 128 balls with 10 sixes and 21 fours.

After Afghanistan’s sure victory against Australia turned into a defeat, the name of former Indian cricketer and ICC World Cup commentary panel member Irfan Pathan started trending on social media website X.

It should be noted that Irfan Pathan had danced on the ground in Chennai on the victory of Afghanistan against Pakistan, the video of which he himself shared on social media accounts.

In the caption of the video, Irrfan wrote that I fulfilled my promise, Rashid Khan told me that we would win again, to which I said that I would dance again.

Immediately after Afghanistan‘s win today, memes started pouring in on X and users started asking Irfan Pathan when he would be dancing, Tooksi said ‘the program has gone’.
