In pursuit of the target, the Netherlands batsmen were initially in trouble when Mitchell Starc scored a hat-trick.

He completed his hat-trick by dismissing a Dutchman off the fifth and sixth balls of his first over and a Dutchman off the first ball of the next over.

Before the match was abandoned due to rain, the Netherlands team scored 84 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the 15th over.

Colin Ackerman remained unbeaten by scoring 31 runs on behalf of the Dutch team.
