The West Indies squad for the ICCT Twenty World Cup has been announced. The West Indies team will be led by Raoman Powell while the squad includes Alzari Joseph, Johnson Charles, Ruston Chase and Shimron Hitmeyer.

The West Indies T20 World Cup squad also includes Jason Holder, Shai Hope, Aqeel Hussain, and Shamar Joseph.

Brendan King, Gadakesh Moti, Nicolas Pooran, and Andre Russell are also part of the West Indies squad, Sheriff Rutherford and Romario Shepherd are also in the West Indies World Cup squad.

It should be noted that the ICCT Twenty World Cup will be played in America and West Indies from June 2.

West Indies Women’s Cricket Team won the series 1-4 by defeating Pakistan Women by 8 wickets in the fifth T20I.

In the match played at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, West Indies captain Hayley Mathews won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first.

Pakistan Women scored 134 runs for 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Sidra Amin played an innings of 48 runs while Muniba Ali scored 25 runs and Ayesha Zafar scored 22 runs. Apart from this, Ramin Shamim remained not out with 16 runs.

Afe Fletcher of West Indies took 3 wickets and Kayana Joseph took 2 wickets.

Pakistan’s target of 135 runs was easily achieved by West Indies Women in the 19th over for the loss of 2 wickets.

 

On behalf of West Indies, captain Hayley Mathews played an inning of 78 runs, Rashada Williams scored 16 runs and Shayman Campbell played an unbeaten innings of 33 runs.

Pakistan’s Nashra Sindhu and Sadia Iqbal took one wicket each.

After winning the last match of the series, the West Indies women’s cricket team won the series of 5 T20 International matches 1-4.
