The sensational match between Pakistan and Japan ended in a draw. The match between Pakistan and Japan in the ongoing 30th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in Malaysia ended in a 1-1 draw after a thrilling encounter.

In their third match of the ongoing Azlan Shah Cup in Ipoh, Malaysia, Pakistan was facing a one-goal deficit until the 59th minute of the match, when Ken Naga Yoshi scored in the 33rd minute of the game.

On behalf of Pakistan, Rana Waheed Ashraf scored a penalty corner in the last minute of the game to end Japan’s lead and tie the match 1-1.

Teams of Pakistan and Japan are in the first and second positions on the points table with 7 points each. Pakistan has the advantage of a better goal average.

Pakistan will play the fourth match of its pool tomorrow against Canada at 1 PM Pakistan time.

It should be noted that Pakistan defeated hosts Malaysia by 4-5 in their first match in the tournament, while they defeated South Korea by 0-4 in the second match.

On the second day of the ongoing tournament in the city of Apoah, Malaysia, Pakistan faced South Korea in which the Pakistani players played well and made good moves and made good attacks against the rival team.

Pakistan took the lead in the third minute of the game through a field goal by Hanan Shahid, in the second quarter, Pakistan scored 2 goals, Arshad Liaquat scored in the 24th minute, and Ghazanfar Ali in the 27th minute.

Pakistan scored the fourth and final goal of the match in the fourth quarter which was scored by Sufyan on a penalty corner.

This is Pakistan’s second consecutive victory in the event, the Pakistani team will play its third match on May 7 against Japan.

In their first match, Pakistan defeated the hosts Malaysia by a score of 4-5.
