Pakistan’s bowling coach Morne Morkel resigned

Pakistan’s bowling coach Morne Morkel has resigned from his post. It has been confirmed by the Pakistan Cricket Board that Morne Morkel has resigned from the post due to his busy schedule in the leagues.

Earlier, Morne Morkel was supposed to work with the team till the tour of Australia.

 

Morne Morkel had signed a six-month contract with PCB, but Morne Morkel did not sign a longer contract due to his involvement in leagues.

Pakistan‘s journey in the ongoing World Cup in India has come to an end with the fifth position and now the journey of the national players is going on to return home.

Along with the batsmen in the World Cup, the bowling attack of the national team also failed miserably and the Pakistan Cricket Board is likely to conduct a post-mortem on the national team.

According to sources, former national team fast bowler Umar Gul is likely to get the responsibilities of bowling coach in place of Morne Morkel.

In this regard, former fast bowler Umar Gul says that he has seen on social media that maybe I am being considered for the bowling coach, but he has not been contacted by the board yet.

He said that Morne Morkel’s contract was probably till December, he has represented Pakistan before, and he will do it again if given a chance.
