Edgbaston: Pakistan defeated India by 8 wickets in the final. In the Blind Cricket World Games, Pakistan beat India by 8 wickets in the final.

 

Playing first, India scored 184 runs for 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, Tompki scored 76 runs and Ramesh 48 runs on behalf of the Indian blind team.

The national blind team achieved the target in the 15th over with the loss of two wickets, Mohammad Salman 48, Badar Munir 41, and Nisar Ali 36 were outstanding.

The Pakistani team remained unbeaten in the Blind Cricket World Games, the national team defeated India, Bangladesh, Australia, and England in the event.

Pakistan had earlier defeated India by 18 runs in the group stage, Pakistan won the gold medal in the cricket event at the World Blind Games.

The Pakistani team has already won the honor of playing in all five finals of the Blind World Cup. The team has now become world champions for the third time but the journey has not been easy.

Not only Shahzeb Haider but other players in the Pakistan Blind Cricket Team including him are also present in the Birmingham field with high morale for the victory of Pakistan despite facing various challenges in life.
