Hambantota: Pakistan defeated Afghanistan after a thrilling encounter. In the second ODI match, Pakistan won a decisive lead in the series by 2 zeros after defeating Afghanistan in a sensational match.

The second match of the three ODI series between Pakistan and Afghanistan is being played today in Hambantota, Afghanistan won the toss and batted first, and scored 300 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.

Chasing the target of runs, Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by one wicket after a thrilling encounter, opener Imamul Haq played a brilliant innings of 91 runs while captain Babar Azam scored 53 runs.

Pakistan got 301 runs a ball earlier due to the brilliant batting of Naseem Shah, Naseem Shah scored 10 runs in 5 balls with 2 fours to lead the team to victory.

Earlier, on the occasion of the toss, Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi said that we would try to make a comeback and that we would enter the field with the target of 260 runs in mind.

National captain Babar Azam said that the wicket is looking good for batting, and he will try to bat best in the match. According to Babar Azam, no changes have been made to the national team today.

In the first match, Pakistan outclassed the rival team and won by 142 runs. Haris Rauf was the hero of the first ODI. He took 5 wickets by giving only 18 runs.
