India’s Cricket Chiefs Arrive in Pakistan. Indian Cricket Board President Roger Binny and Vice President Rajeev Shukla will arrive in Pakistan today at the invitation of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

According to sources, the President and Vice President of the Indian Cricket Board will reach Lahore at 2:00 pm today via Wagah border. Both officials will watch the match between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka scheduled on September 5.

Cricket Board of India President Roger Binny and Vice President Rajeev Shukla will meet Chairman PCB Management Committee Zaka Ashraf during their 2-day visit.

Apart from this, a special function will be held at the Governor’s House in honor of the participating teams in the Asia Cup, in which BCCI officials will also participate.

The delegation will be led by BCCI President Roger Bani. BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla will also be included in the delegation.

The Indian delegation will discuss matters of mutual interest with PCB officials. The delegation will also attend a dinner at the Governor’s House along with watching the matches of the Asia Cup.

In a statement, Roger said that he and Vice President Rajiv Shukla will arrive in Pakistan on September 4. Apart from the official reception, he will also watch the Asia Cup matches in Pakistan.

Roger further said that he has no hesitation in going to Pakistan. His visit to Pakistan has always been memorable. Pakistanis are very hospitable.

Roger also said that he hoped that his visit to Pakistan would benefit the cricketing relationship between Pakistan and India. India-Pak matches are the biggest and most watched matches in Asia.

It is worth considering that Roger Bani will visit Pakistan after 18 years. The last time he came to Pakistan was in 2005 for the Asian Cricket Council camp.
