Indian team head coach Rahul Dravid’s contract extension. BCCI has taken an important decision regarding head coach Rahul Dravid after the defeat by Australia in the World Cup final.

The Indian board has extended the contract of Rahul Dravid, the head coach of the team. The Board of Cricket Control said in a statement that the talks with Rahul regarding the contract were very fruitful.

Rahul Dravid’s contract with the Indian board was up to the World Cup, which ended. After that, in a message on social media, BCCI said that the contract of head coach and support staff is being extended.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said that I have already told them that there is no one better than Rahul Dravid for the post of head coach. The team’s performance during Dravid’s tenure has been better, which justifies his selection.

BCCI President Roger Binny said that Rahul Dravid’s vision, professionalism, and selfless efforts have contributed to the success of Team India.

He said, “I am happy that Rahul Dravid has accepted the offer to be the head coach, and it shows the mutual respect and shared vision between him and the BCCI.”

“I have no doubt that under his leadership, the team will continue its march towards success and set new standards,” the BCCI president said.
